"I have been in this space since 2005, full time since 2012, and training aesthetic providers since 2013. There is no denying that the demand for non-invasive aesthetic procedures continues to be on the rise, and in response to that demand more and more medical providers are adding medical spa procedures to their practices in one way or another.
The challenge really is how to get your skills within this field to be the best they can be as quickly as possible. Anyone can take a "Weekend Course" on "Botox and Fillers" or an industry sponsored training on a particular manufacturer's product such as PDO threads. It should be no surprise that such a brief introductory training experience does NOT get you feeling confident and does not produce skills that would be considered expert level. I can't tell you the number of times I have had a trainee at Renew who told me they took "3 different courses" on the technique we would be covering that day, but then stood in front of the model at training time and honestly didn't seem to know where to begin or how to hold the needle/cannula.
This field is complex and there is no "one source" for knowledge. The most important advice I can give you is to get into private or small group training that maximizes the hands-on experience as soon as you possibly can. The "big box" 20 to 100 people in the hotel room trainings are never going to 'do it' for you. The big aesthetic conferences are nice for background knowledge and perhaps some networking, but they will not make a great injector out of you. These are all just "background knowledge builders".

No need to rent a vehicle unless you prefer to, as we offer transport to and from both Boston Regional (MHT) and Boston Logan (BOS) airports *with advanced notice*. Please speak with us before booking your flights as it is important to avoid rush hour into/out of Boston.
Housing Available
We are happy to make suggestions regarding local hotels for your stay. However, we do also have a Guest Suite available in Amherst, New Hampshire, for those who prefer an even more relaxed atmosphere and avoiding hotel fees! Must be arranged in advance. Transport to and from Renew MediSpa is included.

Proctored Case
Bring your model and supplies and Dr. Vuich will guide you through case assessment, treatment planning, and patient preparation. She will then monitor your delivery of the planned procedures, offering as much assistance as needed to further enhance your skills. Supplies may also be purchased onsite as needed. / $500 per hour
MINT PDO Advanced Threads and Patterns
Full Day Training. The focus of this training is on the more advanced thread patterns including MINT Easy, MINT 43, combination and reverse vector patterns with MINT Petit and MINT 17. Brow, Face and upper neck. Plan to work through a minimum of three full face/neck models. This training is only appropriate for those with substantial (more than 6 months of regular use) experience with PDO threads. / $3995* (includes supplies)

Yes, we are able to arrange model patients for most of our trainings. For Proctored case training, you will provide your own model.
