Say Goodbye to the "Turkey Neck"
With Precision Tx we are able to target and treat neck and jawline regions that have not been adequately addressed by other treatment modalities such as Kybella, CoolSculpting, SculpSure Laser, TruSculpt, and Radiofrequency Microneedling. Precision Tx is a minimally invasive alternative to surgery for those seeking a more defined jawline, a tighter neck, and/or removal of the double chin fat pad.
Convenient - Performed in the Medical Spa in a single 90 minute session (includes numbing time)
Local anesthesia, ProNox, and Prescribed Medications keep you at ease throughout the treatment session.
Continued Improvement - the combination of laser assisted skin tightening and targeted liposuction produces results which are evident quickly and continue to improve for 6 months
Precision Tx is a truly customized procedure delivered by Dr. Lisa Vuich at Renew MediSpa. After thoroughly analyzing your lower face and neck, Dr. Vuich will customize a treatment plan which involves a combination of
Minimally Invasive Skin Tightening and Lipolysis
Three small entry points are created- one under each ear lobe and one directly under the chin, which allow the passage of a cannula to instill the numbing solution followed by the laser probe. The laser fiber is about the size of the tip of a pen. Most patients fall asleep during the procedure due to the comfort medications prescribed. A precise amount of energy is delivered to the target areas to stimulate both skin tightening and laser lipolysis. Laser lipolysis is the direct breakdown of fat cells which come into contact with the heat emitted by the laser. The remnants of the destroyed cells are then removed by the body gradually over time via the lymphatic system
If indicated- for areas with greater fat cell bulk, Dr. Vuich can also manually or mechanically aspirate disrupted cells from one or more regions using the same Liposuction station we utilize for SmartLipo of the body.
The entry points do not even require sutures! They are closed with a steri-strip and a compression wrap is applied which you will wear at home day and night for 3 days, then at bedtime only for 2 to 3 weeks. The garment helps to reduce swelling and promote ideal healing of the region. No pain medication is required. Once the swelling resolves the results can start to be seen and will continue to improve over the course of 6 months.
Long Lasting Results
One of our experiences nurses or medical assistants will review your history and take photographs. In adults, fat cells which have been removed do not regenerate. If your weight remains stable then any residual fat cells will not grow in size, so the double chin cannot “return”. The skin tightening effect is very long lasting as well. It can take as long as 5 to 10 years for you to lose enough collagen, through the aging process, to see loose skin in the region return. Your rate of collagen loss is determined by things such as age, genetics, lifestyle, and sun exposure.
