Aviva FemTite
Non-Surgical Labiaplasty

MINIMALLY INVASIVE, NON SURGICAL AVIVA FEMTITE LABIAPLASTY CAN RESTORE A YOUTHFUL AND FIRM APPEARANCE TO INTIMATE TISSUES, AND SHRINK THE LENGTH OF THE LABIA MINORA AND/OR LABIA MAJORA. AVIVA FEMTITE OFFERS THE ONLY NONSURGICAL SOLUTION.

A REVOLUTIONARY APPLICATION OF RADIOFREQUENCY SKIN TIGHTENING

Radiofrequency skin tightening has been around for decades and is a well researched and safe procedure when performed by trained individuals. Aviva FemTite is a procedure which applies this technology to the pelvic region. It is one of several intimate wellness procedures we can perform with our EmpowerRF platform- the others being Morpheus8V, FormaV, and VTone.
Pioneered by OBGYN expert Dr. Henry Ramirez, this revolutionary application of radiofrequency skin tightening is able to help women who have concerns with skin laxity (loose skin or enlarged labia) either due to discomfort or to concern with the aesthetic appearance of this region.
Many women with enlarged labia feel discomfort or irritation when wearing tight clothing, having sexual relations, playing sports or even just exercising. Some women are born with large or irregular labia, while others develop this condition after childbirth or with aging. Other women just want to look “prettier down there”.
Traditionally, labiaplasty surgery has been performed under general anesthesia in a hospital setting. The surgical procedure required cutting away the excess tissue, requiring stitches, several days of recovery, post surgical care and a lengthy break from sexual activity. Our Aviva FemTite procedure dramatically reduces the recovery time, uses a local anesthetic and requires no stitches.

Treatment Options: Your Customized Plan

At Renew MediSpa we are experts in the field of Women's Intimate Wellness. We offer the widest range of regenerative procedures, and can help you make the best choice of treatment plan based on your symptoms, concerns and goals. Skin tightening in this region can be accomplished by several methods. For example, Morpheus8V and ThermiVa or FormaV will all produce skin tightening and smoothing in this region over the course of a series of sessions. If the laxity or labial enlargement is more advanced, then it may make more sense to have the Aviva FemTite procedure performed as it will deliver more impressive tightening in a single procedure than is possible with these other "more external" forms of radiofrequency skin tightening. Aviva FemTIte can also be added on to one of these other procedures in a single treatment session. It can additionally be used to tighten the skin of the pubic region, with or without localized liposuction.

PREPARING FOR YOUR PROCEDURE

The treatment area should be shaved, or you may use a topical depilatory such as Nair.
We will contact you prior to your scheduled appointment to call in any prescription medication you will need such as the prophylactic antibiotic. If you have a history of genital herpes we will also call in a preventative anti-viral medication as well to ensure you do not have a breakout during healing.
Avoid taking aspirin, motrin or other anti-inflammatory medications which tend to increase bruising. Adjust your workout schedule to avoid heavy exercise for at least 72 hours.

Recovery from YOUR PROCEDURE

Although Aviva FemTite is non-surgical, there is some recovery time required. Localized swelling and mild soreness to touch is typical, so plan to not be sexually active for a week or so. Localized bruising is also possible. Heavy exercise can be resumed once soreness has resolved.
You will be given a brief course of antibiotics to guard against infection during the healing process.
Wash the region gently and avoid swimming or soaking in tubs for at least 72 hours.
Improvement in skin texture and tightening will be evident within a couple of weeks but then will continue to improve gradually over the course of several months.

FAQ’s

Due to causes ranging from childbirth and aging to genetics, your vagina and its surrounding tissues may lose elasticity, firmness, lubrication, sensation and strength. This can lead to several issues such as urinary incontinence (leaking urine), vaginal dryness and/or painful intercourse, vaginal looseness, reduced sensation, difficulty with orgasm, loss of libido, and sagging/crepey skin externally.

Vaginal rejuvenation isn’t a single procedure, but rather an umbrella term that includes several different treatments.

Available at Renew MediSpa:

  • ThermiVa and FormaV– these are “sister” procedures- both delivering radiofrequency energy to the vaginal lining and to the external skin, to restore tissue health and firm and tighten. They also stimulate new blood vessel formation and improved nerve sensation. These are “no needles involved” procedures.
  • Morpheus 8V– a radiofrequency microneedling procedure specially designed for the vaginal canal as well as the external skin. This procedure does require numbing but the microneedling component enhances the treatment effect and gives us the ability to deliver more heat than is possible with ThermiVa or FormaV.
  • V-Tone– specialized electrical stimulation of the pelvic floor and other surrounding muscle fibers- to tighten, increase sensation, and treat all forms of urinary incontinence.
  • PRP Injection- the “O shot”– injection of a concentrated solution of your own platelets, obtained from a simple blood draw on the da of your procedure. Platelets are rich in growth factors, which will thus further enhance your tissue healing and your response to other treatment modalities.
  • Femiwave (low intensity shockwave therapy)- low intensity shockwave therapy has been used for decades in the medical field. It delivers a special type of microinjury to stimulate the healing response in the region treated. It requires no numbing and is completely non-invasive. It is especially helpful in stimulating improved sensation, and can also help with incontinence.
  • Aviva Femtite – a minimally invasive procedure in which a probe is inserted under the skin after topical and injectable numbing. Radiofrequency energy, well known medically for it’s ability to restore lost collagen and elastin and both smooth and tighten skin- will be delivered to the target tissue which can include the pubic region, the labia majora and the labia minora. Improvement in skin texture and tightening begins to become apparent once localized swelling has resolved. It will then continue to improve further over the course of 3 to 6 months. Aviva FemTite can be combined with any of our other intimate wellness procedures- it is most commonly paired with Morpheus8V but it can also be done as a stand alone procedure.

In most cases, unfortunately, vaginal rejuvenation procedures are not covered by traditional insurance plans. The cost can however be covered by funds set aside in Heath Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flex Spending Accounts (FSA) which may be available through your employer.

We do not bill insurance (we are not providers with any insurance carriers) but we can usually process HSA and FSA payment cards and provide any documentation you may need to submit to support the expenditure.

Yes- if you purchase your procedure(s) through our Mobile App you can elect to use Affirm- with options for zero interest as well as longer financing options that would have an interest charge. Visit https://renewmedispa.repeatmd.app to explore this option.

We are able to process Care Credit cards for payment ONLY IF they have a major credit company logo on the card- such as Visa or Mastercard.

The procedure itself is done in 20 minutes on average though it may take longer if the full pubic area is being treated also. We will do our best to estimate this for you at the time of consultation. Numbing time could take 45 minutes.

Most clients are expected to do well with a single Aviva FemTite procedure. Once you have achieved the desired degree of tightening, you could consider future ‘maintenance’ procedures with FormaV which does not require numbing and has no significant downtime! Or, you could repeat the Aviva FemTiteprocedure a few years later or whenever you were noting that laxity had returned (as we cannot stop the aging process).

Yes, all of our equipment has been cleared for use by the FDA.

The Aviva FemTite procedure would be performed by Dr. Lisa Vuich or by Heather Dozois, ARNP.

We take great care to assure that you are as comfortable as possible during these advanced procedures. We will utilize topical as well as injection numbing. We also have ProNox available to help you relax.

A consultation is recommended in order for us to make the best recommendation regarding your treatment plan. We will base our recommendation on the type of symptom(s) you are experiencing and the severity of the symptom(s), and your history of past treatments/interventions. In some cases you will have more than one treatment option available to you, or a combination of procedures may be recommended. The Sexual Wellness consultation can be booked with an RN or medical assistant. If you live over an hour from our location, we may be able to accommodate phone consultations as well.

Primary contraindications include:
Pregnancy
Active malignancy or receiving chemotherapy
Active infection in the treatment zone
Pacemaker or Implanted Defibrillator is a contraindication for radiofrequency.

Ehlers Danlos patients would be expected to not respond well to collagen stimulating procedures due to their underlying condition.

This is a complex question with no easy answer, but we hear it all the time. Primary care providers are certainly usually managing a very high caseload these days, so time may be a factor. They also may not have read the studies backing these specific types of procedures, and thus do not have the information they need to have the discussion. In some instances we feel they may not be comfortable recommending something that is “not covered by insurance”.

Disclaimer: Individual results will vary by person and are based upon patient variables (such as genetics, age and lifestyle), the severity of the condition before the procedure, the procedure(s) chosen, and compliance with any recommended aftercare program. No one can guarantee an exact outcome for any aesthetic or regenerative procedure.
